The 6.7 & 6.9 Class Association Objectives

Association USSA Sanctioned January 15, 1999

The objectives of this class association are:
  1. to promote skill, knowledge, and enjoyment of sailing the S2 6.7, 6.9, and 22 sailboats.
  1. to promote activities that foster that objective;
  1. to provide means of communication among sailors to enhance the performance, safety, and enjoyment of these sailboats;
  1. to promote the development of techniques and equipment that help these boats cruise comfortably, compete more effectively against other sailboats, as well as fairly against each other;
  1. to promote the 6.7, 6.9, & 22 for One Design racing and support periodic One Design regattas.
  1. to provide guidelines for repairs, modifications, or replacing equipment which assures the boat's structural integrity and its continuing suitability for many purposes (racing, cruising, pleasure sailing, trailering);
  1. to develop the renewed production of these sailboats.
